Be Active on Your Child's Academic Team
Your child is assigned to an Academic Team (Apollo, Gemini, Mercury, Spindletop, Paisano, Lone Star, Einstein, Thunderbirds, Phantastic Four).
If you would like to be a Team Parent Volunteer, or just to help your Team's Team Parent, email teamparents@murchisonpta.orgwith your student's team, your name, and your student's name. Thank you!

Team teachers will regularly publish classroom needs on the Team Typepad page (i.e., Kleenex, sanitizer, tutoring snacks, etc.) The Teachers will also request help for parties and events.
To receive Team emails, go to Typepad and click your team name. On the left hand side under the team teachers you will see a place to "subscribe." Simply enter your email and you will receive emails notifications of all team page updates.
Help with Team Copying Needs
Please email officevols@murchisonpta.org to volunteer in the office and/or help with copying needs on Tuesday or Thursday from 10-11:30 a.m.
Support All the Teachers with Appreciation Lunches
Email appreciation@murchisonpta.org to help with our Teacher Appreciation lunches.
Have One Teacher or Staff Member to Support and Treat All Year
Email secretpals@murchisonpta.org to be a Secret Pal and regularly give cards/small gifts. There are 60 staff members left who would love a Secret Pal!
Teacher birthdays will be published on the PTA website and announced in our weekly email bulletins.
